Australian native fertiliser for potted natives and small garden spaces
This balanced, Australian made, slow-release fertiliser was created for the specific nutritional needs of Australian native plants. Low in phosphorus, the 1kg bag is sized for potted natives, balcony gardens, courtyard beds and small outdoor spaces.
Formulated for native plants
Australian natives evolved in nutrient-poor, low-phosphorus soils and respond poorly to conventional fertilisers. This formulation delivers the nitrogen, potassium and trace elements natives actually need at phosphorus levels low enough to protect sensitive species including banksias, grevilleas, waratahs and hakeas. It is especially suitable for soils that are already too high in phosphorus, a common issue in established gardens that have been fertilised with standard products over time.
What's in it
The fertiliser is built on a composted poultry manure base with sulphate of potash, feathermeal, blood meal, kelp and zeolite. Blood meal and feathermeal provide both an immediate and slow-release nitrogen source, feeding plants consistently over time. Sulphate of potash supports regular and consistent flowering. Natural gypsum increases calcium and sulphur without altering soil pH. As with all natural fertilisers, a composted odour is present which dissipates quickly once applied to soil.
The right size for small space gardeners
The 1kg bag is designed for gardeners who grow natives in pots on a balcony, tend a small courtyard bed or manage a handful of established plants in a compact garden. It stores easily in a small space and stays fresh between applications in a resealable, stand-up pouch.
