A biodegradable jute webbing
A 50mm wide flat jute webbing designed for staking young trees, training climbers and securing plants to stakes and supports. Strong enough to hold a young tree through Australian summer wind and storms, soft enough not to damage bark or stems. Cut to length as needed and tie directly. Biodegrades naturally when you are done with it.
Why you'll love it
- 50mm wide flat weave — distributes pressure evenly to prevent bark damage
- Strong enough for young trees and established climbers
- Soft and flexible — won't cut into stems or bark as the plant moves
- Cut at any length directly from the roll
- Biodegradable and compostable — no plastic ties left in the garden
- 33m roll — enough for a full season of staking and training
Uses in the garden
- Staking newly planted trees and shrubs through establishment
- Training climbers and espaliered plants against fences and structures
- Securing young natives to star pickets and bamboo stakes
- Tying in vegetable plants and tall-growing crops
