Stainless steel concave blade

The 175mm blade is made from strong stainless steel in the traditional shape that creates a natural soil channel as it cuts, making it particularly effective for digging planting holes, slicing through compacted soil and dividing root clumps. One side is serrated for cutting through fibrous roots and tough material.

FSC certified ash hardwood handle

The contoured handle is a dense, fine-grained timber chosen for its combination of strength, shock absorption and natural warmth in the hand. At 410g the knife has a satisfying weight and solidity.
