A handmade wrought iron wall hanger

A simple wall hanger made from wrought iron, handmade one by one with the characteristic marks of beaten iron visible in each piece. Mount it on a shed wall, fence post or exterior surface to store a coiled garden hose, rope or heavy twine off the ground and within reach. As an iron product it will develop a rust patina with age. Each piece varies slightly in size and shape as a result of being handmade. Made in India.

Wrought iron with a beaten finish

The double-arm profile holds a coiled hose or rope securely without slipping, and the wall mount bracket sits flush against the surface for a clean, stable installation. At approximately 200mm across it is sized for a standard garden hose coil or a substantial length of rope.

Develops character with age

Iron develops a rust patina over time, particularly in outdoor and garden conditions. This is an expected and characteristic part of ageing for an iron product. If you prefer to slow the rusting process, a light coat of wax or oil applied periodically will help.
