Premium German craftsmanship
A dual-purpose fork hoe crafted using traditional German forging techniques. Forged from a single piece of steel with a round eye, the head carries a flat blade on one side and two tines on the other, set on a 40cm ash stem.
The two-tine head is the tool for getting into soil. Drive the tines in to lever and loosen compacted ground, break up clods and pull stubborn roots clear. Turn it over and the blade chops and draws.
Perfect for Australian conditions
Much of the country gardens on clay which sets hard. The fork hoe is built for that soil. The tines penetrate where a flat blade would skid, opening compacted ground around established plants without turning the whole bed over. It is also the right tool for lifting persistent weeds by the root.
Key features
Forged from a single piece of high-carbon steel using high-quality German manufacturing, this fork hoe is designed for strength, edge retention and an extended working life. Also known as a hand mattock or cultivator, the two-tine head offers versatility in a single, compact tool.
