Burgon & Ball National Trust Children's Digging Spade

Created in collaboration with the National Trust

Encourage young gardeners to get hands-on outdoors with the National Trust ‘Get Me Gardening’ children’s garden spade. Designed especially for children aged 6-10, it helps build confidence, coordination and a love of gardening from an early age.

Perfect for supervised play

Designed in high-carbon steel and colourfully painted FSC®-certified ash wood, this child’s garden spade will stand up to energetic gardening, as well as play. It has a T-shaped handle, useful if little hands want to use a double-handed grip for serious digging. A tough powder coating protects the steel head from corrosion. An embossed metal badge bearing the National Trust and Burgon & Ball maker’s mark adds the final touch of distinction.

Complete the set with the fork.

Foster a love of gardening

With a five-year guarantee, this hardwearing children’s digging fork is designed to grow with your child until they are ready to move on to adult tools. Like all items in the Get Me Gardening children’s gardening range, it carries CE certification, demonstrating that it meets EU standards for health, safety and environmental protection.

By purchasing this children’s garden spade, you are helping the National Trust care for special places for ever, for everyone.
