The Nisaku 956 is a compact Japanese root scraper built for the close, precise work that repotting and root preparation need. Two stainless steel claws work through tangled root systems, break up compacted soil in pots and containers, and dislodge stubborn weeds along with their roots.

Functional and practical

The claw is forged from 420J2 stainless steel. The natural Yaki wood handle is comfortable to hold for extended sessions and provides the grip needed for precise, controlled work around root systems. Made in Japan by Nisaku using Tomita manufacturing standards established in 1960.
